Lightscape is coming to Encinitas from November 17, 2023, to January 1, 2024. This one-mile walking trail loop has been reinvented to surprise and excite visitors, including intriguing new installations and old favorites.
True to its theme of ‘merging art with nature,’ Lightscape aims to dazzle the night with color, creativity, and melody. Patrons will surely be treated to a stunning display of light and shade, including a California poppy-inspired show called the “Floraison,” an illuminated laser sky named “Liquid Sky,” whimsical fiber optic flowers, and a customized floral display inspired by SDBG’s landscape.
Besides the visual attractions, you may enjoy the Concessions menu food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Under the Savory items are the Winter Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich, Beef Hotdogs, Giant Bavarian Pretzel with Cheese Sauce, and more. Desserts include the Giant Red Velvet Cookie, Holiday Peppermint Brownie, and the Extra Large Kettle Corn, among others.
