The beach town of Del Mar will host the 2025 Breeders’ Cup World Championships. This will be the second consecutive year that the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club will host this year’s world championships and the fourth time overall. The club is set to host the event in November 2024.
Del Mar first hosted the Breeders’ Cup in 2017, where the two-day on-track wagering mark record was set. The event also brought in almost $100 million for San Diego County.

According to its official website, the Breeders’ Cup is an event “where horses from across the world could meet to settle the age-old question, “Who’s the best?”
Besides enjoying the competitive race, the quick dining options at the DMTC are second to none. Patrons may fill their sandwich cravings at the Corona Beach House, Stretch Run Grill, Veranda Cafe, and more. The famous Tanner’s Prime Burgers is a top-notch choice for burger fanatics, and The Paddock Club has Specialty Salad options.

The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar, CA 92014, USA.
Please follow the DMTC website and the official Breeders’ Cup website for more details.
