“The Plot” has been named the 38th Senate District Small Business of the Year. The vegan restaurant is well-known for both its excellent cuisine and its eco-friendly operations across the nation. The establishment has another location in North County at The Cottages in Carlsbad. The owners, Davin and Jessica Waite, also plan to expand in Costa Mesa in 2024.
The restaurant offers lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch menus. Some of its popular dishes are the Meatless Loaf and vegan renditions of Waffles & Chicken and Crab Cakes. Handhelds and wraps are the stars of the lunch menu, while the dinner entrees are the Seasonal Risotto, meatless Shepherd’s Pie, and Biscuits and Gravy.
The Plot is at 1733 S. Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and serve lunch and weekend brunch from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. Dinner is from 4 pm to 9 pm.
