The Cottage, La Jolla’s favorite daytime dining hub, will open another location in North County, with a planned expansion to Del Mar. The establishment is set to debut at the Del Mar Plaza (1555 Camino del Mar) in the spring of 2024. The owners, Jason Peaslee and Bernardo Kanarek are now looking at its third North County location after The Cottage opened in Encinitas in July 2022.
The iconic La Jolla brunch spot will expectedly bring its classic bestsellers to Del Mar. The daytime dining powerhouse will serve Griddle-cooked delights such as Lemon Ricotta pancakes, Buttermilk pancakes, Brioche French Toast, and Stuffed French Toast. The Cottage also serves Eggs Benedict with different twists (served with different types of meat), omelets, sandwiches, and the All-American breakfast.
