Oceanside: Inspired by street food hailing from Southeast Asia and East Asia, Chef and owner James Limjoco opened Mak Mak in Oceanside in April. Situated close to the Oceanside Pier, the restaurant has a dining room and bar, with menu offerings such as dumplings, lumpia, fried chicken, tofu, and leche flan.
As for beverages, Mak Mak offers a unique selection of house-made seltzers: classic drinks and unique concoctions that feature fresh ingredients and house-made syrups and bitters, as well as craft beer and hard kombucha.
Non-alcohol offerings include house-made natural sodas such as Lychee-Guava Lemonade, Prickly Pear Margarita, and Kumquat Calamansi.
Follow Mak Mak on Instagram; order food to-go; or simply stop by and dine in for the full experience.
