The North Coast Repertory Theatre has officially extended the play “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” based on the famous Robert Louis Stevenson novel. The Jeffrey Hatcher adaptation will be shown until November 19 at the NC Repertory.
Directed by Shana Wride, the timeless story by Robert Louis Stevenson is boldly reimagined in this rendition– full of terror, darkness, love, and desire. The San Diego Tribune sang Wride’s praises, noting how she “crafted a stylish, thrilling production with a strong ensemble of six actors.” Other critics swear this tale holds a grip on you from start to finish, as Wride was able to masterfully “draw every facet of the actors’ characters to the fore.”
The North Coast Repertory Theatre is at 987 Lomas Santa Fe Dr Suite D, Solana Beach, North County. Please click here for more information about the added playdates and writer/director/actor bios. For ticket bookings, go here.
