Postino WineCafé has joined the San Diego dining scene in their newly opened Little Italy and Del Mar locations.
The wine cafes offer a changing selection of boutique wines, with 30 options available by the glass. The menu, which covers lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, features an array of bruschetta, paninis, salads, charcuterie boards, and other shareable plates. Additionally, the restaurant has a wine club named the Postino Wine Cult. Members receive four exclusive, hand-picked wines each quarter, along with additional perks at the restaurant. The latest winter release included wines from Washington, California, Argentina, and Italy.
The restaurant and wine bar has partnered with A Reason To Survive (ARTS), a locally-based non-profit with a mission to uplift youth in the South County region of San Diego to become confident, compassionate, and courageous community builders through the transformative power of creativity.
A cornerstone of Postino’s brand is giving back to the communities in which it operates. Therefore, throughout the month of May, Postino Little Italy and Del Mar are donating $1 from each bruschetta board purchased to ARTS in support of the organization’s efforts as a center for arts and culture in the borderland region that supports families to build healthy, resilient, and equitable communities.

To showcase and celebrate all that ARTS accomplishes throughout San Diego, Postino and ARTS’s partnership will culminate in two days of interactive art activations at both Postino locations. On Wednesday, May 22 from 4 – 7 p.m., guests are invited to join local artists at Postino Little Italy in designing their own trucker hats with vintage embroidered patches. For those in North County, be sure to visit Postino Del Mar on Thursday, May 23 from noon to 6 p.m. to try your hand at tile mosaic art on skateboard decks.
